Your ability to be a winner 100 percent of the time is based upon giving up the notion that losing at anything is equivalent to being a loser. ~Wayne Dyer
If you’ve ever wanted something and gone for it, did you reach it? If you have then you’ve probably stumbled along the way to reach that goal. If you didn’t reach it, that little stumble stopped you, and that’s when you failed. You have to look at these stumbles as learning experiences, not stop signs. If you stumble, your light will turn yellow for a moment, but you wait and inch up with your foot on the gas, it then turns green again.
I remember wanting to squat and deadlift 500lbs. I failed many times, but kept at it. I was disappointed if I missed that lift, and I missed them plenty of times. I kept at it though, my confidence built and before I knew it, 500lbs was a thing of the past and I wouldn’t have to think twice about IF I would lift that weight. I KNEW I could no matter what. Stay on target for your goals, don’t let the little “failures” stop you. They’re stepping stones to your goal if you stick with it!
